Jorge Ferreira - Short Bio

Jorge Ferreira is currently Unit Operations Manager at IKEA Industry Units in Portugal and China. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in international industry companies, namely in the automotive sector. Jorge has worked in areas as diverse as Human Resources management, Industrial Engineering, project management and Production Units management. In 2007 he took up the challenge of establishing IKEA’s industrial group in Portugal. His daily mission is to lead people and teams in a journey that prioritizes the needs of people together with the needs of the business, through continuous improvement of performance & delivery and at the same time stimulating learning & development in such diverse backgrounds as Portuguese, Russian and Chinese contexts.
