Summary
The consistency of the continuous improvement process is one of the most important factors for the success.
This requires the process to be:
· comprehensive by involving of all associates from all areas and levels,
· result oriented in terms of finance, quality, safety and associate’s satisfaction and
· aligned with the company’s strategy
Another relevant factor is stability as continuous improvement cannot be made by impulse or just because it is ‘in’. Continuous improvement is a process that must be incorporated in the organizational culture with consistent discipline. It must lead to the stability of the organization, the target achievement and involvement of all associates in a natural and continuous way.
